Who gets priority
Priority postcode districts: GL1, GL2, GL3, GL4.
These districts affect particular priority categories, not eligibility for every place. Category ii applies to Pupil Premium applicants meeting the Qualifying Standard in GL1-GL4; category iii can admit qualifying premium applicants outside these districts up to the stated percentage. Category v also names GL1-GL4; ask the school whether that residence rule applies to both score-standard groups, and confirm your full address with it. Do not infer a 2027 premium quota from the historical 2025 percentage example.
Priority order not confirmed in this guide. Criterion v covers applicants who have met the Qualifying Standard, or who have achieved the Priority Standard and live in GL1, GL2, GL3 or GL4. Ask the school whether the postcode condition applies to both groups, and whether places within a category go by test score or random allocation.
For September 2027 entry. Policy checked 2026-10-24. A priority category does not guarantee an offer.
