Within five miles of the published Dartford reference point, 4 listed schools use the Kent Test and 4 use the Bexley Selection Test. These are separate assessments. A Kent Test result does not qualify a child for a Bexley grammar school; Bexley requires its own selection test. Check each school's policy before choosing preferences.

For September 2027 entry, families living in Dartford apply through Kent by 2 November 2026, even when naming a Bexley school. Bexley residents apply by 31 October 2026. Families living elsewhere use their home council's form and deadline. Test registration and the school application are separate.

Some nearby grammar schools ask for evidence directly when a family claims a particular admissions priority. A school form does not replace the separate application to your home council. Check whether each form applies to your child:

• Dartford Grammar School for Girls: its 2027 policy says families claiming Pupil Premium priority must send the supplementary form and proof to the school by 1 November 2026.
• Wilmington Grammar School for Boys: its 2027 supplementary form says it is required only for the sibling or Pupil Premium claims described on the form, within its stated area conditions. The school must receive it, with any required evidence, by 31 October 2026.
• Wilmington Grammar School for Girls: its 2027 supplementary form sets the same 31 October 2026 school deadline where its sibling or Pupil Premium conditions apply.

Kent residents must also name each preferred school on Kent's separate application by 2 November 2026. Families elsewhere use their home council's deadline.
