Formal consortium · Sutton SET participating schools consortium · Two in-person multiple-choice papers, English and Maths, held by all six participating schools at the same time on Tuesday 15 September 2026; candidates are allocated a test centre.
The two paper results are combined as a total score with no negative marking. Participating schools set their pass mark after marking; a pass is not an offer. Greenshaw uses the outcome for its ability places, while the five grammar schools use it to invite candidates to school-specific second-stage tests.

1. Selective Eligibility Test
One SET registration covers all six participating schools. All candidates sit the shared Stage 1 SET in English and Mathematics. Candidates who pass are invited to a shared Stage 2: girls for Nonsuch and Wallington High School for Girls sit on 26 September 2026, and boys for Sutton Grammar, Wallington County Grammar and Wilson’s sit on 3 October 2026. Greenshaw has no Stage 2 and uses the SET outcome for its ability places.
