  The two paper results are combined as a total score with no negative marking. Participating schools set their pass mark after marking; a pass is not an offer. Eligibility

Girls normally sit and pass the SET and both NWSSEE papers, then name Nonsuch on the home council Common Application Form. The policy provides looked-after/previously-looked-after and eligible Pupil Premium candidates a concession of up to 20% below the usual standardised SET pass mark and each NWSSEE paper pass mark, as shown in its worked example. The required evidence must normally reach admissions before the SET; the policy separately describes later waiting-list cases.

Score policy

SET English and mathematics are multiple choice; NWSSEE English and mathematics are not. Normally candidates pass both NWSSEE papers. The policy concession for looked-after/previously-looked-after and eligible Pupil Premium candidates can reduce the standardised SET pass mark and each NWSSEE paper pass mark by up to 20%; its worked scores are hypothetical, not published 2027 cut-offs. NWSSEE marks are added to half the aggregate SET mark, with each part equally weighted, for ranking. Qualification does not guarantee an offer.

Oversubscription

After eligible EHCP-named admissions, priority is: looked-after or previously looked-after children; 85 places by highest Entrance Test score irrespective of address; up to 35 eligible Pupil Premium places by score; then up to 125 catchment places by score for homes within 5.25 km of the school front door on 31 October 2026. The catchment allocation is reduced by EHCP, care and premium places already offered; these figures are not added together as separate quotas. Unfilled premium places go first to catchment applicants. If catchment places remain unfilled, the remaining places up to PAN 210 go by score irrespective of address. The policy applies its 20% pass-mark concession to the care and premium categories. Distance, then independently supervised random allocation, resolve the specified final-place ties.

   One SET registration covers all six participating schools. All candidates sit the shared Stage 1 SET in English and Mathematics. Candidates who pass are invited to a shared Stage 2: girls for Nonsuch and Wallington High School for Girls sit on 26 September 2026, and boys for Sutton Grammar, Wallington County Grammar and Wilson’s sit on 3 October 2026. Greenshaw has no Stage 2 and uses the SET outcome for its ability places.
